The most basic thing that you need before preparing for a trip, of course you must do some research. Unless you follow tour then its a different story. You would need to decide what kind of trip you wants to go for. For example; shopping, sightseeing, food eating, etc.

For this trip of mine the focus would be the culture, some local stuff, food, sightseeing, etc. Of course a little shopping is a must. Since this is a winter season, it is critical that you take care of your body. Although Taiwan does not snow, but it often rains and have heavy winds. Uses lotion, lip balm, moisturizers, apply some mask, wearing the appropriate outfit to cover every part of your body from head to toe to make sure that you are warm. You might want to bring umbrella or raincoat. But no worries you can get it anywhere there conveniently.

One of the famous place that people visit when they are at Jeju Island is the Manjanggul Cave (만장굴). It is It is one of the largest lava tube there. It takes about an hour or so to finish the tour depending on your speed of walking. They only opened up about 1 kilometers for tourist. It is very beautiful inside where you can enjoy a slow walk and view the scenery. Do take note that it is slippery, the roads are holey and a little cold inside. Make sure you bring your jacket along and walk properly. A torch light could be useful 🙂

In Jeju, one of the thing that must try is Sea Urchin Noodle (seongge-guksu) and Abalone Porridge (jeonbok-juk). I chose Dongbok-ri Haenyeo-chon as my first stop for food in Jeju. You will need to go very early or non peak hours. It usually packed with people during peak hours.

Was so excited and looking forward for the trip. First day is practically just flying from LCCT to Incheon via AirAsia X then from Gimpo to Jeju via EASTARJET. We took a cab around 5am and head to LCCT. Even though I have done online check in, but when we reached there is another process for the luggage check in. Which is actually equivalent to check in there because the queue is also long.

Back from Korea for about a week or so now. The feeling is EXTREMELY great!!!. No other word can express my feelings for this trip. First of all the weather is superb because it is below 0 degree. The sad thing is that it was not in the process of snowing when I was outside. But I did manage to see and play with snow which is already on the ground when in Jeju and in Mt Sorak, it was cool.

Enjoy eating lots of different thing from fresh raw to cooked food. Get to see the culture, people, their subway system, etc.

Mistake of mine is that I was not prepared with gloves and proper socks. I only got mine in Jeju on the second day. Fingers cracks very seriously and its painful. During this season I believe that the wounds are difficult to heal which occurs in my case. Only a week after I am back from Korea, my finger start to heal and close up the crack.

After all the places we have visited, now comes the Disneyland. I bought our tickets from our hostel cost HKD570. Its actually a little bit cheaper compare to if you buy it from Disneyland itself. Cheaper by HKD20. We went to Hoi Keng Congee Shop for breakfast (cost: HKD50). I really love their porridge. Especially the pig blood porridge my favourite.

Today we ordered along with the Zha Leong (炸两)
