Date 160809 - 170809 we’ve planned to go down to Johor to attend Violet’s Convo. On Sunday morning we both woke up early. Packed, checked the car and went breakfast with parents (bkt as usual for breakfast) before starting our journey. We took the PLUS highway down. Violet is very nice to prepare me instructions & maps heading to her house. It’s simple and clear.
On the way, we made a few stops. It took us approx 4 hrs to reach Johor (bout 300+KM). During the first stop, darling noticed that the tyre bulge out. Then we decided to change it just incase it burst. Here is the small process of changing the tyre.

Last 2 week, during the weekend i took a trip down to Taiping with my dear. On the way there we drop by Ipoh to look for Choong Yee. First stop is her sister’s clinic the Jean Veterinary Clinic (JVC) next to Tesco after the Toll exit. Later on she bring us to the Original Ipoh Old Town White Coffee shop which located at the tallest building in Ipoh. I forgot the name of the place hahaha. Anyway if you manage to find the tallest building there then you can find this shop is just next to it.

After all the places we have visited, now comes the Disneyland. I bought our tickets from our hostel cost HKD570. Its actually a little bit cheaper compare to if you buy it from Disneyland itself. Cheaper by HKD20. We went to Hoi Keng Congee Shop for breakfast (cost: HKD50). I really love their porridge. Especially the pig blood porridge my favourite.
Today we ordered along with the Zha Leong (炸两)
Today’s main destination is The Peak. We took the MTR from MongKok (旺角) to Central (中環) Station. Same like the other day we went to Yung Kee Restaurant, we took the D2 Exit.
Tram…
Lok Yuen (乐园)
This is the first place I went for dinner when I arrived at Hong Kong. Environment and price is also not bad. I am very fond of their Nai Cha which is also known as Milk Tea (our teh tarik). The aroma of the milk tea is really very good. Plus the milk & tea they put is very thick really very nice. I really miss the Milk Tea….
Its a Sunday. Today is suppose to be a shopping day for us. As for breakfast, we went to Seaview Congee Shop (海景粥店) also can be known as Hoi Keng Congee Shop which is just next block from our hostel. Very easy to find because it is on Argyle Street itself. If you are staying in Dragon Hostel, just go out from the left entrance of Sincere House, cross the road its on that block opposite it along the Argyle Street.
Hoi Keng Congee shop, based on the name you know they are famous with the porridge. Other than that they also serve very nice Zha Leong (炸两) & Yao Zha Guai (油炸鬼). The Yao Zha Guai is really very HUGE LOL compare to ours is like more than double the size. We both ordered bowl of porridge for ourselves, yao zha guai and chi cheung fun with prawns.
Sorry didn’t get the full title of the shop. Sea view Congee Shop (海景粥店) also can be known as Hoi Keng Congee Shop. I really love this shop. Their porridge is really very nice and smooth (quite huge bowl). Plus their Zha Leong (炸两) & Yao Zha Guai (油炸鬼) is really very nice. Highly recommended. The branch that I tried is at Argyle Street
Getting up a little later than usual and get ourselves ready for the day. We take a walk down to the Goldfish Market, it is somewhere near Tung Choi Street (通菜街). Walked the wrong side actually before getting to the right one :P. Walking with so tiny map is not that easy. But they have very sufficient road signs so should be no problem. Today’s weather is the best. It’s getting slightly cooler than the hot weather we have encounter for the past few days.
Does this tunnel looks familiar? Haha it looks like the one we seen on those TVB drama once in a while
Very cute all the fish
