Luxury White Blouse
My latest blouse project
Every month back to KL I definitely will go over to my favourite shop; The Lily Handicraft at Subang Parade. Only once a month so I usualy sit there whole day lepak with my sifu and knits. Well sitting with her usualy I get to gain some knitting knowledge. There is once I went to sifu’s shop, I take a look at their books/magazines and found this pattern below.
At that time I didn’t consider of making coz I hardly make blouse for myself usualy I make for others. But I did took a photo of it and maybe in future I will consider making one. Coz its really nice and I love it the first time I looked at it. I had a project using this thread Luxury last month which is beige color. The first time I touch the yarn… Wow really very nice and soft(before I started the project). Then when I continue doing the blouse… it feels so good before washing it with softener. Sifu says since so long I didn’t do blouse for myself why not do one. So I guess its time to pick up something to do. So I asked her any simple cables and straight cut blouse can I do? She flip open her magazine and choose this blouse that I have chosen few months back hahaha. Fated I guess… means I must do this already 
I have chosen white instead of beige. Actually white and beige is also very nice color. Another color available I think is black. If do cables I think black can’t really see so I choose the white. It took me 2 weeks to finish this blouse. It’s a short sleeve, straight cut and with simple cables blouse. Used 6 yarns coz my size is smaller hehe lucky me.
Phase 1: Front piece & back piece
Phase 2: Done the sleeve, middle ribs & joining the blouse (side & shoulder)
Phase 3: Join the middle rib, add in buttons (the buttons really cute chosen by sifu) & button holes, do the collar, iron the blouse & hiding the threads
The blouse is officially done 
. Soak it with softener and hang it dry. I really love this blouse very much. Patterns & material is really very nice. Just perfect. Even Licia is interested in the blouse hahaha therefore I am making another piece for her.
