Finally I get to go to Zen for their buffet. If not mistaken I said I wanted to eat Zen buffet since December last year. Till now only I get the chance to eat. Almost everytime I went back Sunday darling also went back hometown. This time he take the chance to go back in the evening so we can go for the buffet. So on Saturday, I make a call to the restaurant to book a round table for 2 and make sure Sunday we are not late so we went there earlier. It’s been so long since the last time I step into Sunway Pyramid.

Last time I go almost 3 to 4 days out of 7 but since I’ve moved from Sunway I never been to Pyramid. That time they did lots of renovations it’s a little messy around the car park and the price increases. Well at least now the parking lot renovated and they come up with something quite cool. Is a kind of indicator above the parking slot to shows the slot is taken. Forgot to take a photo of that. Well next time then…. Anyway back to the buffet…. It is good that they give all small portion so that we can have more variety of it.

Here are some sample food we ordered :

Hot Ocha & Chawanmushi. If you go to Zen MUST try their Chawanmushi. Very soft. Similar to our tao fu fa the texture. I’ve never tasted any Chawanmushi nicer than Zen

Tofu plus some Sashimi. My darling fall in love with the boiled octopus -.- & I loved the salmon. Thick and soft Yum Yum. Similar to those in Hachi Hachi

My own opinion about the octopus…. Not sure why darling love it so much. But to me it’s like … super difficult to chew. Tak terputus-putus -.- I ended only ate half of one piece.

Time & Price

The bill come up to about RM 100 plus. Forgot how much in total already. Overall the meal is great. Super full. By time we finish eating, its about 2 plus already. So went and have a walk in Sunway Pyramid. They have changed alot. Although lots of shops inside there but we didn’t get anything LOL. Finally just send darling to the LRT & I rushed off to cut my hair. So many days I go home that day was the first day to rain so heavily till can’t even see the road. After cut hair at aunty’s place, rush back to shower and go for my cousin bro’s wedding.

Recently I felt that whatever I used to love to eat… now become so different taste. Not to say the food drop grade but it just somehow taste different. Maybe coz things are different now, therefore even my food preference are also different. Well people will change huh. Or maybe is the food really tasted not as nice as last time heh.
