Barli
Finally this weekend is the weekend that I don’t need to work. Last week asked Alan to get me some barli as well as bak guo (thanks alot). So today I decided to boil barli for my boo to drink.

but I boil leung sui; actually I don’t know what’s the difference hahaha well at least is something for health I guess should be fine **
So last night went and take the barli plus asking how to cook (Alan also knows better ish….). Heh as you know I am quite noob at cooking so have to ask else… don’t know what it will turn out to be
Ingredients:
1/2 packet of barli
1/2 packet of dry winter melon
Steps:
Firstly soak with water for few hours
Winter Melon
- Put 1/2 packet of winter melon with the soaked barli into one huge pot
- Fill the pot with 1/2 pot of water
- On medium fire and let the barli to boil
- Once the water is boiling, lower the fire to low and let it boil for an hour or so
- Leave the pot cover slightly open
- Add winter melon if you think it’s not sweet enough
- Cool it and it’s ready to drink
First time boil consider very successful :). Keep it up Crystal! Next time You sure can do BETTER :P. Trying to encourage myself -.-”

If i dont put wintermelons but i put rock sugar or normal white sugar no prob de hor?

of course can
is just a form of sweetening. put more wintermelons will have the wintermelon smell very strong hahaha. if you want more barli taste then put more barli. slowly adjust
